Puerto Vallarta Areas Brace For Lidia Hurricane, Airlines Canceling Flights

On the afternoon of this Monday, October 9, tropical storm ‘Lidia’ strengthened and became a Category 1 hurricane, but when and where will it make landfall in Mexico?

The phenomenon, which is currently over the Pacific Ocean, is holding its course firmly toward the northeastern and western coasts of Mexico, according to the latest information from the National Weather Service.

On the morning of August 10, Hurricane ‘Lidia’ will remain 330 km west-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Jalisco. However, it is expected to become a Category 2 hurricane around 6:00 p.m.
