Hotel Occupancy In The Mexican Caribbean To Surpass 95% During Easter

According to projections based on bookings made for the upcoming Holy Week, hoteliers in the Mexican Caribbean anticipate hotel occupancy rates to surpass 95 percent.

Quintana Roo is one of the most attractive destinations for visitors, with 130,123 rooms available in 1,149 hotels.

The presidents of the Cancun hotel associations, Puerto Morelos and Isla Mujeres, Jesús Almaguer Salazar, and of Riviera Maya, Toni Chaves, who together represent more than 70 percent of the room supply in the region, foresee the biggest spike between March 24 and 30.
