Thousands without power in western Washington

Earlier on Saturday, over 22,000 people in western Washington lost power, according to Puget Sound Energy

SEATTLE — Over 22,000 people were without power in western Washington on Saturday afternoon.

The Puget Sound Energy Outage Map shows thousands of people lost power in King, Pierce and Kitsap county. The map shows 105 active outages as of 10 p.m., impacting approximately 3,000 customers. 

Eastside Fire & Rescue crews responded to several of wind-related calls across the region, including fallen trees across roadways and sparking power lines, the department posted on social media.
