Seattle's Pacific Science Center to light up its iconic arches for Kraken home games, hockey goals

The Pacific Science Center (PacSci) announced in a news release Thursday the installation of a new lighting system on its iconic arches. In partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the Seattle Kraken, the new lighting will project specially choreographed lighting displays before, during and after all Kraken home games.

In addition to a high-tech, game-time show, a special “goal light” will celebrate each Kraken scoring point during a night game. Through the use of, a sports data provider and AWS technology, the lighting will be in sync with the Kraken’s real-time events.
