Report: Seattle's cost of living is 56.8% higher than the national average

The cost of living in Seattle is 56.8% higher than the national average, according to a recent report from Rent.com

The report estimates that a person’s household income would need to be at least $82,240 a year to comfortably afford an average one-bedroom apartment and other expenses such as food, utilities, transportation and healthcare.
