Prepare for delays: 'Revive I-5' returns this weekend with lane reductions in Seattle

Drivers in Seattle should prepare for delays on southbound lanes of Interstate 5 starting this Friday and through the weekend as the second phase of the “Revive I-5” construction project gets underway.

Starting at 7 p.m. on June 25, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will close the mainline of southbound lanes south of Freeway Park for work. The eastbound and westbound Interstate 90 ramps to southbound I-5 will also be closed all weekend. A map of the upcoming closures can be found here.
