WILKESON, Wash. — A bill pre-filed in the upcoming Washington legislative session seeks to fast-track the replacement of the Fairfax Bridge near Wilkeson, a 103-year-old structure whose permanent closure this spring has cut off a key route to Mount Rainier National Park and dealt a severe blow to the local economy.
