Fears are running high among staffers at CNN, according to three people familiar with the network, after parent Warner Bros. Discovery reversed a decision to sell its streaming and studio assets to Netflix and instead package the whole company for Paramount Skydance. Paramount has, in its earliest months under new management, shown itself to be a shaky custodian of its journalism operations at CBS News, and CNN employees fear the deal will bring more of the same to their own independent newsgathering.
