Ghostface is back to wreak havoc at the box office with “Scream 7,” the latest entry in Paramount and Spyglass’ horror series.
The R-rated slasher has made a franchise-record $7.8 million in previews at the box office, beating the $5.7 million made by “Scream 6.” The new movie is on track to make between $40 million and $50 million, with some tracking services predicting it could go even higher.
