Peru’s Ladines! has sold the remake rights to its critical and box office hit “The Last Laugh” (“Muerto de risa”) to Mexico’s Sin Sentido Films during Ventana Sur.
This marks the second time its director-writer-producer Gonzalo Ladines has sold remake rights to one of his films. His family comedy “YouTuber Dad” (“Papá Youtuber”) which Ladines co-produced and co-wrote with its director Fernando Villarán, was the first original Peruvian pic to sell its international remake rights where it was optioned by Mexico, Spain, France and India.
