‘Longlegs’ Director Osgood Perkins Launches Production Banner, Signs First-Look Deal With Neon

Neon seems eager to stay in the Osgood Perkins business.

The indie studio has entered into a first-look deal with Perkins, the director of “Longlegs,” its biggest box office hit. The pact comes as he launches his new production banner, Phobos, with business partner Chris Ferguson.

As part of this new arrangement, Neon, Perkins and Ferguson will jointly produce upcoming projects, with Neon serving as the home for films that Perkins writes and directs, as well as those he produces for other filmmakers.
