A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of northwestern Montana, with snowfall, strong winds, and hazardous travel conditions expected from Sunday night into Monday morning.
The advisory, released by the National Weather Service, affects both the West Glacier and East Glacier Park regions, including higher elevations of Glacier National Park.
Snowfall and Wind Expected to Impact Higher Elevations
According to the advisory from the National Weather Service Missoula, snowfall will primarily affect areas above 4,000 feet, with accumulations ranging between 2 and 6 inches. Lower elevations are expected to see lighter snowfall, generally under 2 inches. Winds could reach gusts of up to 35 mph
