Winter Weather Advisory Issued for 13 Counties in Colorado and Wyoming

A multi-state winter storm is expected to bring hazardous travel and accumulating snow across higher elevations of Colorado and portions of Wyoming, prompting the National Weather Service (NWS) to issue a series of Winter Weather Advisories on Wednesday.

The advisories cover 13 counties named in the alerts9 in Colorado and 4 in Wyoming—along with additional nearby mountain zones and passes that could also see difficult conditions.

Forecasters said the system will deliver several inches of snow, gusty winds, and reduced visibility, with impacts peaking from Thursday evening through Friday, depending on location and elevation.
