Winter Weather Advisory Issued for 12 Counties in New York and Vermont

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Burlington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory affecting 12 counties across northern New York and Vermont, warning residents to prepare for snowfall and hazardous travel conditions beginning Friday morning.

The advisory, announced Thursday afternoon, will remain in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, covering a broad region that includes communities such as Montpelier, Stowe, Lake Placid, and Massena.
