A dramatic drone video circulating online shows more than 100 vehicles mangled together on a snow-covered Michigan highway, after dangerous winter weather triggered a massive chain-reaction crash.
The incident occurred Monday morning along Interstate 196 near Zeeland, southeast of Grand Rapids, amid intense lake-effect snow and near-whiteout conditions.
According to reporting from Fox Weather, deputies initially estimated that roughly 100 vehicles were involved, including at least 30 to 40 semi-trucks. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that minor injuries were reported, but no fatalities have been confirmed at this time.
