The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an Urgent Winter Weather Advisory for eight counties across southeastern Virginia, as a winter system sweeps into the region, bringing snow, ice, and treacherous travel conditions.
Residents are urged to exercise caution as the weather deteriorates, with impacts expected to persist into Thursday morning.
