Urgent Winter Message Issued for 8 Counties in Montana and Idaho

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of western Montana and northern Idaho, with the National Weather Service (NWS) warning of accumulating snow and hazardous travel conditions beginning late Saturday night and continuing through Sunday morning.

The advisory affects mountainous terrain and key transportation corridors across eight counties, including parts of the Southern Clearwater Mountains, Central Panhandle Mountains, and Montana’s Lower Clark Fork Region.
