The U.S. Embassy in Manila has issued a warning to American citizens as Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi) batters the central and southern regions of the Philippines, leaving widespread damage in its wake.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA), Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 4 remains in effect for parts of Palawan as the powerful storm moves rapidly over the coastal waters of El Nido.
