The U.S. Embassy in New Delhi has issued a security alert after an explosion occurred near the Lal Quila (Red Fort) metro station in central Delhi on Monday, November 10, 2025.
According to local media reports, the blast involved a vehicle and resulted in multiple casualties. The cause of the explosion remains under investigation, and authorities have yet to confirm whether it was an accident or an act of violence.
In response, the Government of India has placed several states on high alert, increasing security presence and monitoring public areas closely.
