ROME — The United States Embassy in Italy has issued a travel advisory ahead of major demonstrations expected to draw tens of thousands of participants in central Rome on Saturday, November 22, 2025.
According to the Embassy’s alert, an estimated 30,000 people will gather at 3:00 p.m. at Piazza della Repubblica before marching toward Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. The march, which aims to raise awareness and demand an end to gender-based violence, is scheduled to conclude by 8:00 p.m.
