Tornado Watch Issued for Large Portions of Ohio and Pennsylvania

A widespread tornado watch has been issued across parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, with forecasters warning of potentially dangerous severe weather conditions through late Thursday night.

Severe Weather Threat Expands Across Region

The NWS issued Tornado Watch 75 at 4:50 PM EDT on March 26, 2026, covering a large swath of the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The watch remains in effect until 11:00 PM EDT, impacting dozens of counties across northern and central Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and parts of northern West Virginia.

Major population centers affected include areas near Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Pittsburgh, and surrounding communities.
