A dangerous severe weather outbreak unfolded Monday across parts of Minnesota and the broader Upper Midwest, as tornado warnings and a wider tornado watch were issued by the National Weather Service and the NOAA Storm Prediction Center.
Meteorologists warned that conditions were highly favorable for tornado development, alongside destructive hail and damaging winds.
