A powerful late-season winter storm is intensifying across parts of the Upper Midwest, prompting forecasters to upgrade warnings across large portions of Minnesota and North Dakota. Officials from the National Weather Service caution that a combination of heavy snow, strong winds, and ice accumulation could create dangerous to near-impossible travel conditions through the weekend.
