A fast-moving winter storm swept through the Northeast this weekend, leaving New York City’s most notable snowfall in years and coating streets, parks, and rooftops in a fresh layer of white as the holiday travel period peaks.
Central Park measured 4.3 inches of snow, the city’s highest official total since 2022, after bands of snow and mixed precipitation pushed across the region overnight.
