Missouri, it is time to pay attention to the sky. The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center issued its morning outlook at 4am today flagging northeast Missouri specifically for severe weather risk as early as this afternoon — with a more significant and organized threat arriving Tuesday across a broader stretch of the state.
There is the potential that a separate corridor of severe weather potential may unfold today, potentially from a subtle mid-level wave and early morning convection across the northeast Missouri vicinity and/or additional development later today.
