Several Michigan and Wisconsin Counties Are Under Flood Watch and Winter Storm Warning

As a powerful low-pressure system barrels through the Great Lakes region, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several counties across Upper Michigan and northern Wisconsin, warning of hazardous conditions into early Friday morning.

The NWS in Marquette, MI, reports that areas including Baraga and Marquette counties are likely to experience 2 to 4 inches of wet snow, with up to 6 inches possible in elevated zones such as the Michigamme Highlands.
