Recent Data Indicates A Decline In Travel Prices In The U.S.

The Consumer Price Index from the United States indicates a slight decline in travel prices for the month of May. It means that many Americans can take advantage of the low prices to book their vacation.

In May, new data indicates a fall in ticket prices by approximately 13% compared to the previous year. There has also been a decline of about 12% in truck and rental car prices; in May the rates for hotels have risen by 1.8%.

Last summer, the average cost of a US domestic flight price was averaging at $376 in 2022. This summer, the average cost has declined and is averaging at $306.
