Portugal no longer requires travelers to submit a negative test result upon entry, nor do they have to present other vaccination documents such as the EU digital certificate.
The new rule was announced today by the country’s National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC).
In its statement, ANAC points out that after the entry into force of Decree No. 8022-D/2022 of June 30, airlines are no longer required to demand travelers present Covid-19 documentation.
“Under this new regulation, airlines and passengers are no longer subject to the restrictive measures that applied to air transport in the fight against the pandemic caused by the Sars-CoV-2 virus, which lasted until June 30, 2022,”
