NYC Area Under Major Winter Warning as Snowstorm Approaches

New York City is preparing for its most consequential snow event in years, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect from 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 26, through 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27 for much of the NYC metro region.

Forecasters say the storm will arrive during one of the busiest travel windows of the year, raising the risk of major delays on roads, at airports, and across regional transit systems.
