Norwegian Launches New Cruise Ship With Eco-Friendly Tech Reducing Environmental Impact

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is launching its new eco-friendly creation, the Norwegian Viva, a new vessel that will sail from four European homeports from June 2023.

The ship will depart Lisbon, Venice (Trieste), Rome (Civitavecchia) and Athens (Piraeus), from Jun. 15 to Nov. 6, 2023, with eight, nine, and 10-day itineraries.

The ship is the latest addition to NCL’s Prima Class. It has a capacity of 3,219 passengers at double occupancy. The ship is said to boast the most spacious interior, ocean view, and balcony category accommodations in the brand’s history.
