Northern California Flood Watch Extends Through Dec. 26 Amid Excessive Rainfall

A flood watch has been issued for parts of Northern and Central California, covering the Mariposa–Madera Lower Sierra, Yosemite, the San Joaquin River Canyon, and the Upper San Joaquin River.

The watch is scheduled to run from 4 p.m. Saturday, December 20, to 4 p.m. Friday, December 26 (local time), according to an update tied to National Weather Service (NWS) guidance reported by regional outlets.
