North Dakota Issues NO-TRAVEL Advisory As Blizzard Conditions Move in

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) issued a “no travel advised” advisory for the northeast and northwest parts of the state as winter weather pushed through the region, with Grand Forks, Devils Lake and surrounding communities among the areas affected.

While the advisory is not the same as a formal road closure, the state’s guidance makes clear that conditions may quickly become unsafe. In NDDOT’s definition, “Motorists should not travel due to hazardous conditions which may make it unsafe to travel.”
