A dangerous winter storm is expected to sweep across northern Michigan Tuesday night into Wednesday, prompting the National Weather Service to issue an Ice Storm Warning for six counties in the northern Lower Peninsula. Forecasters warn that significant ice accumulation, strong winds, and hazardous travel conditions could cause power outages and widespread disruptions through Wednesday evening.
