Residents in parts of Maine should brace for a significant winter storm, as the National Weather Service (NWS) in Caribou has issued a Winter Storm Warning for three counties, forecasting heavy snowfall and hazardous travel conditions.
The warning, issued at 12:36 PM EST on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, covers the time period from 7 PM Tuesday evening through 7 PM Wednesday. Areas affected include Southern Penobscot, Interior Hancock, and Central Washington Counties, along with parts of Coastal Hancock and Coastal Washington Counties.
