Heavy Snow Winter Advisory Issued for Large Portions of Idaho and Montana

A widespread winter weather system is set to bring heavy snowfall, strong winds, and hazardous travel conditions across large parts of Idaho and Montana through the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists warn that the late-season storm could significantly impact mountain regions, with some areas expected to receive nearly two feet of snow at higher elevations.

Significant Snowfall Expected Across Mountain Regions

The advisory covers multiple regions, including the East Glacier Park area in Montana and the Sawtooth, Sun Valley, and Frank Church Wilderness regions in Idaho.

Snow accumulations are forecast to range between 4 and 10 inches
