A powerful late-season winter storm is set to bring major snowfall, strong winds, and dangerous travel conditions across broad stretches of Minnesota and Wisconsin from Saturday night into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecast offices in Twin Cities/Chanhassen, Duluth, La Crosse, and Grand Forks have issued winter storm warnings covering counties from the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro and southern Minnesota to western, central, and northern Wisconsin.
