Forecasters warn that even light ice accretion can quickly create hazardous travel, especially during the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.

In southern New England, the National Weather Service office in Boston/Norton said the advisory is in effect 7 PM Tuesday to 10 AM Wednesday, covering northern Connecticut and wide portions of Massachusetts (including areas along and near the I-95 corridor), plus northern Rhode Island.
