The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Snow Squall Warning for several counties across New York State as intense bands of snow sweep rapidly across the region this Sunday morning.
The fast-moving squall, packing strong winds and near whiteout conditions, is expected to severely impact travel in affected areas, with near-zero visibility and slick roadways making conditions perilous.

As of 10:13 AM EST on January 11, 2026, the NWS in Buffalo officially released a Snow Squall Warning for:
Allegany County Cattaraugus County Livingston County Monroe County Ontario County Wyoming County
