Coastal Flood Advisory Issued for 2 Counties in New Jersey

A Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect for portions of southern New Jersey through early Monday afternoon, as minor tidal flooding is expected to impact low-lying coastal and bayside communities. The advisory was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) office in Mount Holly and is valid until 1:00 p.m. EST.

According to the NWS, up to one foot of inundation above ground level is possible in the most vulnerable locations near shorelines and tidal waterways.

The advisory covers Ocean County and Atlantic County, including coastal sections of both counties, as well as parts of southeastern Burlington County.
