Over 14 million air passengers have been recorded at Cancun International over the first five months of the year. The Mexican city on the Yucatán Peninsula bordering the Caribbean Sea, is a hotspot for travelers due to its pristine beaches and abundant nightlife.
Just in May, the city saw over 2.6 million travelers, a 6.6 percent increase over the same month of 2022. In response to this data, Governor Mara Lezama stated that the massive number of travelers, “allows us to predict an extraordinary summer vacation season.”
