Bali Aims To Bring 1.5M International Visitors In 2022

Before the pandemic tourism accounted for nearly 80 percent of the island’s economy and the recent announcement by Indonesia’s Minister for Tourism and Creative Economies, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno aims to put them back on that similar course. 

The minister has set a lofty target for the second half of 2022 in the hopes that Bali’s tourism economy bounces back. By the end of 2022 Minister Uno is setting the target of 1.5 million international tourists while also creating a domestic tourism target of 7 million.
