Another Beautiful Europen Country Launches Digital Nomad Visa in November 2025

Slovenia has formally introduced a temporary residence permit for digital nomads, adding another option to Europe’s growing map of remote work destinations. The scheme took effect on November 21, 2025, following changes to the country’s Foreigners Act.

The permit is aimed at non-EU and non-EEA citizens who work remotely for employers or clients based outside Slovenia, or who are self-employed abroad. All work must be carried out remotely via digital technologies, and permit holders are not allowed to enter the Slovenian labor market or provide services to Slovenian companies.
