Father John Misty Headlines the Full Capitol Hill Block Party Lineup Reveal

While he thoroughly rocked Sasquatch! Festival[1] a few weekends back, Father John Misty has yet to grace Seattle with tunes from his superb February-released Sub Pop album I Love You, Honeybear. That will change soon, thanks to Capitol Hill Block Party. The former Seattleite headlines the summer music festival’s full lineup reveal. (FJM’s inclusion alone makes this year’s CHBP slate at least 50 percent better.) Other noteworthy new additions include Girlpool[2], the Physics[3], Ivan and Alyosha[4], and loads of local bands. They join previously announced acts[5] like Ratatat, TV On the Radio, the Kills, Jamie XX, Built to Spill, and the Julie Ruin. The full festival schedule is now live at capitolhillblockparty.com[6]. Capitol Hill Block Party takes place July 24–26.

In addition to the lineup announcement, single-day tickets for Capitol Hill Block Party are now on sale for $50. Two-day passes are also available for $90, and three-day passes are still being sold for $125–$250. All tickets can be purchased online at capitolhillblockparty.com[7].
