Microsoft’s Azure cloud service is experiencing an outage that appears to have hit Microsoft 365 , Xbox and Minecraft. All three show spikes in outage reports on DownDetector around 12PM ET, and the Azure status page indicates Microsoft is working on deploying fixes to address the issue.
In its most recent Azure status update as of 1:53PM ET, Microsoft says that its “initiated the deployment of our ‘last known good configuration,’” but has run into delays “due to protective blocks” put in place to protect Azure Front Door. “Once the rollout is complete, we will begin recovering nodes and re-routing traffic through healthy nodes to accelerate recovery.” The company has
