The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost two-way standout Travis Hunter Jr. for the season with a knee injury.
Hunter suffered the knee injury during practice the day before Halloween, and was placed on injured reserve as the team hoped that the rookie would be able to return this season. However, on Tuesday, Hunter underwent surgery to repair the Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL) in his knee, and now faces a six-month recovery process.
Hunter is now officially out for the rest of the season.
According to multiple reports, Hunter avoided any damage beyond the LCL injury.
The two-way standout saw significant time at both wide receiver and cornerback as a rookie. He logged 67 snaps
