The Washington Commanders made a magical run to the NFC Championship Game a season ago, and the pieces look to be in place for another strong campaign. Washington’s selection of Jayden Daniels with the second-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft paid immediate dividends, giving the franchise one of the cheat codes to modern NFL roster construction: The rookie quarterback deal. With a bonanza of cap space entering this offseason, the Commanders added around Daniels, including left tackle Laremy Tunsil and wide receiver Deebo Samuel on the offensive side of the ball and Deatrich Wise, Jonathan Jones, and Will Harris on the defense.
