Something very magical happened on Thursday night if you’re a hater of all things Philly. In an incredible fusion of ineptitude, every single one of the city’s sports teams playing managed to fail in spectacular fashion.
We’ll kick things off with the most important game: The Phillies. Emotions were high, hope was overflowing — could this be a chance for Philadelphia to topple the Dodgers’ evil empire, head to the NLCS, and potentially make it to the World Series?
The Phillies didn’t just lose, they lost in the bottom of the 11th. So much pain — but at least the Eagles were playing the Giants. A chance for a feel-good win
