Arguably one of the best hitters in college softball is about to hit the open market.
On her Instagram earlier this week, Boise State’s Sophia Knight announced her intent to enter the transfer portal. The 5-foot-4 outfielder led all of Division I softball in hits this season with 103, which were both single season records for Boise State and the Mountain West Conference.
Notably, Knight is the first player in Division I NCAA softball to reach 100 hits in a single season in 23 years.
