Team USA is headed to the gold medal game in women’s hockey.
The United States women’s hockey team booked their spot in the final game with a dominant performance against Sweden, winning 5-0. Team USA broke the game open during a dominant stretch in the second period, and will now look to secure the gold medal later this week.
Cayla Barnes opened the scoring for Team USA just over five minutes into the contest, ripping a shot from the slot glove-side past the goalie to stake the United States to an early 1-0 lead:
