The Pitt Panthers found themselves a little bit on the ropes last Sunday in Chapel Hill’s Carmichael Arena as the North Carolina Tar Heels narrowly won the second and fourth sets to force a decisive fifth, which was tied at 15-15 in the waning moments.
But then the Panthers answered, as Bre Kelley and Marina Pezelj combined for a block, followed by a Pezelj kill that sealed a well-earned victory.
